I do not mean to say that the other reviews are nonsense. Dell has made many mistakes with the Venue 11 series. I have had many problems with the tablet and the keyboard. Would not have surprised me if Dell the series would have stopped completely after they had angered many customers order.
Addendum of 05/01/2015.
The pen is anything but robust. I use it only 1-2 per week. After 6 months, the clip is broken when I tried to put the pen in my jacket. It occurred to me: the plastic is relatively brittle and can be broken in half with his bare hands. As a result, the pin disappeared in the depths of my inside pocket. Because he's so difficult to fish out, then I grabbed him in my files-pocket. He survived for about 2 weeks. Then it was broken in the middle. I have never had such a fragile pin. Unfortunately, the pin is currently no alternative.
Conclusion
If it works, it's really good. Simple test and if necessary exchange..
One should treat with kid gloves the pen, however. The clip is only decoration and breaks with regular use. A case is mandatory. I would love to have more 2mm diameter accepted when the pen this would more durable. My next craft project will probably be to transplant the technology in a robust 1-Euro-pens.
