The wooden top is thick and well-milled. Nevertheless, after a few days in the fridge with cheese above the plateau eventually curve (which makes wobbly). After one day returned to room temperature, it resumes its original shape. The changes made by Amazon with a new one has not changed anything, so I think it is a default "natural" product, linked to wooden tray itself.
Finally, attention, comes with plastic bell is fragile, one of which was delivered to me 2 was broken upon opening the carton. Make sure to reception to have it replaced if you need!
