it works with ps4. it can help to purchase a TV with HDMI.

The connection I made

1 - plug a cable TV and 3 RCA Male adapter to 3 RCA Male; ie = UTF8 & qid = 1418497202 & sr = 1-1 & keywords = Bulk + CABLE-521 + cable + 3 + CAR + Male + to + 3 + CAR Male +

2 - Connect the HDMI cable to the adapter and ps4

3 - connect the cable with the micro USB side to the adapter and the USB side to a sector of a smartphone adapter or anyone.

I do not know if it is possible to power by plugging the ps4, I have not tried but I had an AC adapter that was lying, I preferred to feed with it.

the quality is acceptable I have nothing more to say on it because the person using it has no HDMI jack on the TV. It is to troubleshoot a while.
