Worse than expected 2

First: I'm actually really a fan of Becker navigation devices, but this is not here what I expected. Since I have an older Becker, but a map update is more expensive than a new Navi, we thought long and wanted, after a test of TomTom and Garmin, stay with Becker. Then, when the winner was here, it was clear that it is the will.

The menu is as usual good of Becker: Light, clear and understandable for everyone. I find it easy to search gas stations, restaurant, etc., which had bothered me when TomTom for example. The size I loved. We have had a 5 ", but in our car windshield is very deep and you can recognize bad and use so that the little 6.2 Naive simply" are really great.
The feel makes her also what and I like the glossy frame, but certainly is also susceptible to scratching. Even the real glass display I find beautiful. I do not think it appears more than the old, and also speaks the Navi indeed with so that it does not bother me when things reflects a bit.

So now enough of praise, and the reason for my two stars:
The navigation, and that is now times the essence of a navigation device is really deficient. In Germany it is the route, for example, to my parents, who live about 150 km away, but congestion on the highway has not been recognized. As I well versed in the area, we have then taken equal to the next exit, but the Navi wanted therefore constantly take us back to the highway and in the jam. I find that quite unacceptable.
But what I find worse is that he (yes, I'm serious!) A left-right weakness. He really confused left and right: Arrow points to the left and he says that you should turn but please right, and unfortunately that is happening more than once. As I sat in the passenger seat next to it, I could tell my husband luckily that Navi is wrong, but alone, in a strange area that would be considered really stupid.

The next thing is that we wanted in the Czech Republic Plzen returned to Marienbad. Hin it was quite normal on the Autobahn, back we went a little further north and he has started us apparently so do not want to steer across the highway, but right through the Pampa. When he us then to an icy dirt road (yes, I know, you can exclude unpaved roads, also have what I) wanted to send, we have become permanently suspicious because the safe could not have been the fastest route. Then he wanted us to send a long road, which did not exist, really honest, there was no road. Accordingly we went, but 200 meters later, he tried to send us back to the right, where there is no road (left was not, so it was not because of the weakness of the left-right Navis).
That was the point where we gave up and drove to feeling because worse could not be ...

And the voice recognition is not really helpful because you will pronounce the places and street names in local language ... In addition, we could not allow ourselves to navigate from the Czech Republic with my parents because there is no way to first tell the country, but you to do with the city. But since it was a German city, he has been trying to identify which city I had meant in the Czech Republic - which of course does not really work. Within Germany it is certainly a good thing, but otherwise not.

Sorry, I'm really a fan of Becker-Navis, I love the menu and the way how to choose points of interest, but if the Navi does not do what it is supposed, for which it was built, namely navigate, then I do not accept that, so I can give no more than two stars.
