With over of> 10 EUR for the bit of plastic and a few screws, then when I eh never take the Apple TV out of its holder, we have been looking for alternatives:
In most cases, you can attach the Apple TV much cheaper with Velcro directly on TV - Velcro strips are available for pennies in a hardware store to cut off from the endless belt. The Apple TV is nice and smooth, so that the fastening is no problem. Alternatively to the hardware store, you can order here Velcro: On & Off Velcro, black, 1m x 20mm, but which significantly reduces the cost advantage. The same procedure applies for the attachment to / in the TV furniture.
If you have the Apple TV then mounted on the TV, even an ultra-short HDM cable to cable clutter and ready: Sunshine Tronic High Speed HDMI Cable Adapter 20cm.
Regardless if Velcro or mount: An IR forwarding you no longer need when I use the Remote app via iPad / iPod Touch / iPhone, often even works the IR transmission also behind the TV (eg in bright wall sufficiently the Singale well reflected).
