I had the chance to experience this novel just before its release, and that age of more than three times the minimum age recommended by the publisher, I can say that I enjoyed it from start to finish. The writing is fine, precise and dynamic; the characters are very endearing and far from any caricature. The city of Paris itself appears as a real character: sometimes disturbing, sometimes refuge, a city that does not leave to love the surface. There is a safe bet that this book will become a great success: do not expect to be snobbish and read it now. The expectation of Volume 2 will certainly appease the small point in the heart that comes to the end of the last page.
