In addition to the grand Xenoblade Chronicles and The Last Story very good Pandora's Tower has always occupied only the status of underdogs. Meanwhile, the game is officially available in Europe and although it is clearly different from the other games, it is by no means a bad game - for many it might even be a secret! The most important thing first: Pandora's Tower is no roleplaying! Actually, it is an action-adventure game in the style of a 3D Castlevania, which has both elements of Zelda and a Devil May Cry.

The I particularly liked to Pandora's Tower:
+ The story is very mysterious especially at the beginning and unfolds with increasing playing time. This one wants to know what happened at all.
+ It's interesting to see how things develop the relationship between the accursed hero Helena and Aeron. You can actually affect directly.
+ Six very different epilogues ensure that you still want to play through a second or third time the game.
+ The gameplay itself is reminiscent of Castlevania, Zelda and Devil May Cry with a mix of fighting, climbing, exploration and puzzles.
+ The fights go well out of hand and the pointer is very well used, particularly for the use of general-purpose Orakloskette
+ Thirteen different towers have to be mastered, which at the end of each waiting for a very well-designed boss battle.
+ Musical adventure is accompanied atmospheric, the English-language edition is also confident of a good standard.
That's what I did not like:
- Graphically the game varies between pretty and potthässlich - especially the textures are often anything but handsome.
- Camera does not always do what they should. Manual You can unfortunately not align, and it may lead to chaos.
- In the long term go a fighting against the standard opponents something on my nerves because they run all the same.

My personal conclusion:
Pandora's Tower is a good game, which although can not quite keep up with the excellent quality of Xenoblade Chronicles and The Last Story, but about twelve hours promises a lot of fun and in addition also represents the only game of this genre on the Wii. The underdog status, to enjoy the game has, it really does not deserve and especially the mysterious story picks out Pandora's Tower from the mediocrity. I was well entertained and can only recommend the title.
