EDIT: 09/28/2013
After some correspondence with the seller I got the adapter to work. The following steps are necessary:
- Start
- Right click on the Computer
- Features
- Device Manager
- Right-click on the unknown device
- Features
- On the driver tab
- Update Driver
- Browse my computer for driver software
- Select from a list of device drivers on my computer
- Microsoft Common Controller for Windows Class
- Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows
Confirm warning with Yes -
Then let the controller to the Sync button to locate a device and then press the button of the recievers. One has for the controller to install any additional software or drivers, and it is recognized by all Controller enabled games immediately.
If you use the software or GlovePIE Xpadder you can even play games that do not have gamepad / controller support.
Thus, the Reciever earned 4 out of 5 stars, after some initial difficulties.
