With attorney Mickey Haller, half brother of Harry Bosch, Connelly draws a plot full housing and financial crisis. The author is not abating and still holds a good frame with just the reversals dose required in a legal thriller. Certainly novels are no longer up to the first Connelly, less density maybe. Haller is unable to completely forget Bosch, for this reason perhaps Connelly returns in the last two novels published in the United States with a Bosch slaughtered flanges.
