I admit it. I was critical, very critical even when I unpacked the Philips Air Styler. My hair is just very long, and they are not lufgetrocknet nice and smooth, but slightly wavy. So neither one thing whole. My conventional smoothing method are, as in many, hairdryer and straighteners. So two steps, connected with some effort. Da me but this "one-for-all" concept of Airstylers very irritated. Particularly interested me the brush-drying-smoothing function that the Air Styler also two essays curls, a volume attachment and a concentrator has with which one the crew "only" to use as a hair dryer, make things right again interesting.
Philips is recommended to use the Air Styler at handtucktrockenem hair, as this gives the best results. As the paddle brush to smooth was interssantesten for me, they had priority during the test. Each essay is changed super fast, it works without any problems in advance and very simple. Before I turned on the Air Styler, I precombed my long hair with a conventional hairbrush. Since the brush attachment of Airstylers is very rigid and the rod length that are not as fortunate. In a pinch, sure, but that Vorbürsten with a conventional brush is recommended definitely.
To make a long story short, I was really surprised! It worked namely very good! I have not divided my hair but simply "losgeföhntundgleichzeitiggebürstet" with the Air Styler. My hair was very smooth, very soft and the result can be seen. The Air Styler does not create the same smoothing effect as a good flat iron, but this one-step principle, I was very pleased. The unit is not heavy, a little long, but fits comfortably in your hand.
Can not however, and you should know that magic, the Air Styler. It takes some time until the hair is completely dry and smooth. In the second test run, I have my hair once, approximately in the middle, divided. The result was the same as with the first method, without division.
The concentrator, with the Air Styler can be used as a hair dryer (handy when traveling - you have here is actually a device for blow-drying, straightening and curling) funktoniert well. Here the Airstyler with 1000W is a bit too weak in the chest (my Mittelklassefön has 1600W).
Thus, the volume bust funktoniert perfectly, you should pry-drying very long hair in the lengths / vorföhnen, just as with the curling papers. For me rather uninteresting, since it is very time consuming, requires a second step and I have no particular advantage to hair dryer and curling iron here. It works well, but takes time.
During brushing, there is some air turbulence which partially blow the hair in all directions. Knotted they do not have with me anyway. Finally, I am satisfied. The Fönfunktion and paddle brush for smoothing are super. The other essays for me, with very long hair, not so interesting. Despite the much advertised and powerful 1000W Philips Airstyler could for me still use some more power. But probable corpse takes Stlying just always something and not conjure up the hair smooth.
Overall, I was surprised by Philips Air Styler, the smoothing actually works in a step (+ vorkämmen). The result is good! For perfect results I prefer still hairdryer and straighteners.
