The cover of the vinyl release (1978) is different (blue smoke picture of the scene) and there is not the last morceaux..Donc this cd edition to be even better! It seems to me (book Herve Muller, "Beyond the Doors"?) That there is very little editing on this record, it's almost making a to z of a single concert, d Hence the disturbing impression to it! In fact, as pointed out to me a former high school classmate even bigger fan and more expert than me, the disc is a clever mounting of two concerts, since intends tour turn Morisson say "Hey Philadelphia, do you feel alright?" and "This is New York for here" (or something like that) but we seem to hear a single concert. The sound is different disks "studio": bass - assured of a hand on his organ with two keyboards by Manzarek - is rounder, more bombastic and sounds more crude to the group. The group owns "Who Do You Love" Bo Diddley, and it is excellent (as they will live on other Morrison released after the death of the "Gloria" the Kinks) .They make meddley (Pots -pourris) of their shares, they do not just redo the studio making: they reinvent them. The sublime version of "When the Music's Over" is fantastic ... so take your ticket .. enter the blue and smoky room ... you are! You will attend a concert of the Doors! For real !!
