March 2011 - first pot unfortunately already broken:
Unlike other I had with the thin glass (cover & Co) no problems so far (bumping or falling).
However, there was now only 4 months more frequent use (it was winter ...) hairline cracks in the area of the spout ... they broke very quickly (a few days later).
Etc. without hitting Unfortunately, a very considerable wear ... but maybe I had bad luck.
May 2011 - second pot broken:
The second pot was relatively fast (2 months) without any external assistance in the same place (sink cracked and this burst after some time) broken ... the manufacturer responded rather snotty. Neither understanding nor grace ... all in all for a subjectively good first impression - predicate is not recommended!
The jug is suitable for rare assignments and as a decoration in a glass case. In particular, due to the large volume and their beauty of form.
Small drawback is unfortunately also the tea strainer. Because of a few, very small water outlet openings only in the lower part of the screen exceeds the time for pouring then quickly let the time for it. In fine tea strainer clogged the partially complete.
For daily drinking tea, the teapot "Miko 2.0" of "Jena Trendglas" unfortunately is unsuitable because of its design. For this, the glass is too thin and contrary to the manufacturer's instructions, I consider it even in continuous use for not dishwasher safe.
Unfortunately, there are few attractive teapots with an appropriate volume - the Teapot Miko, 2.0l of "Trendglas Jena" is for daily use in any case a waste of money!
