In contrast to for me much better but also more expensive Gentleman Jack, which is ideal 2X filtered, Old-7 is indeed (after the fire) flowed only once through the charcoal, but one of the best-selling whiskeys in the world. Not that it now points to a lower quality, but Old-7 shows as a mahogany Zungenschmeichler, exquisite in its price class quality.
Certainly not a Scotch, but a Tennessee who flatters the nose with fruity vanilla tinged, tongue pleasantly surprised and finish short and soft.
To Him who loves him and, like me, can cope with it, the 1.0 liter bottle should get on his board, because in spite of international "commodity" has Old-7 something for themselves, especially on days when one thinks to caress his account of more favorable varieties)
NB:
In a to Old No. differs 7 then not the Gentleman: Both have a screw top :)
