First Kiss (Audio CD)

Customer Review

There is already a certain extent paradoxical in my view. His last album, he said: "It's not the best I've ever done, but it has become very good." I personally liked "Rebel Soul", very much, because it also revealed something of his former side, despite his new style. Now he has his own words more time left to a "better" to produce her album.

I find it after repeated listening, quite successfully what is certainly a matter of taste, and yet I was missing this time that certain something. Now maybe some people like to see the different, but I find the "First Kiss" which builds the signature style of the album "Born Free". Back then it was still called the that album from her style probably the exception will remain: D. All numbers are moderate and simmer rhythmic to himself. I'm actually a fan as regards this page Kid Rocks, but some numbers have been missing me like the album Rebel Soul. Including something like "Gucci Gallore" because even if the Southern rock goes down well, so Kid has his notoriety attained only by his crossover style and in songs like just mentioned, so got an album despite his new musical garment more color and variety. Exactly lacks a little in my opinion here. The songs are still arranged through class, but sound relatively the same since served only one style here.

The highlights are for me "Is Not Enough Whiskey", which really nice groovy purely runs and showcase ballad "Jesus and Bocephus" showing the Kid Rock feels as a "Redneck" cope at home.
The whole album is in my opinion very well and meets with his melodious tones my taste, although I have no personal one or the other song in the style of his old days. If you can live with an album in the sense of "Born Free", is here to have his joy.
