The processing of the Pioneer I find somewhat spartan. The subwoofer is indeed carried out from the front in gloss varnish, from behind can be seen, however, even the particle board and the installation on rubber sticker is not very convincing, to say nothing of the thin wires for connecting the boxes (The Sony was to classes of high quality).
The sound is still strong, although in this system, as apparently many, no tone controls for bass and treble is possible. Only the volumes to each other can be angepaßen.
Disturbing I find not interruptible passage of the audio signal over HDMI, thus I have always on television on the volume reduction (mute Samsung has unfortunately realized with a permanent icon).
The two optical inputs are just enough to connect me to other sources on the Pioneer.
The picture is exalted on my Samsung LCD doubt. A better I have not seen from a variety of sources (T-Home, WD Live player). I particularly like the automatic switching of the frequency of 60, 24, 50Hz depending on whether DVD or Blue-ray are inserted.
Playback of media files (MP3, MPEG, AVI, ..) is performed simply and with good menus and navigation in the sources, but has problems with some MKV (VC-1, MPEG2). The Netzwerkfunktionaltät was immediately available without any configuration.
The remote control is a little light in the hand, but provides a very good service with a nice context menu (Display).
Overall, a very good for the price system with small "blemishes"
