That a kettle for safety reasons should not fill up under the edge (to constructive pressure during cooking), each should be clear. But even if one is trying out of interest in this boiler, you can not get off the published 2.5 liters. The maximum capacity of the boiler is 2.25 liters.
In the product description, but is even of 2,5l capacity (not capacity) the speech, so you should assume actually that you can cook in the cauldron about as much water.
I have carefully Range scans me of the amount of water and can now say that you should cook a maximum of 1.7L of water with this boiler. This corresponds to a level which is just below the Tüllenloch and this is not affected. Already a slightly larger amount causes a flood and carries a risk of burns!
Unfortunately my spout sat a total of a little too loose, so that the boiler has spat still more than normal even with this amount.
The other processing is ok, the floor is not perfectly flat. A Better Way shaky he is not well. The rest seems well made for the price, the cover itself is stuck.
As much as I was looking forward to the boiler, but alone this 2,5l I find misnomer! Finally, the boiler is not intended as a decanter, where interested me the maximum capacity, but as a kettle. Here I would like to know how much water I can cook effectively without me flying the part around the ears!
With the leaky spout I have maybe just unlucky and caught a Monday-boiler, but alone the capacity is for me a reason not only to replace the boiler, but completely return. Pity!
If anyone knows of a suitable induction boiler, in which the actual amount of water is at least cookable 2 liters, so I would be grateful for a tip!
