3M Master Gold Range Toslink cable

Ordered as an optical connection cable between a Samsung LED TV and a Yamaha amplifier cable. The processing and sheathing of the cable (kink) is ok, but 1 star. However, the dimensions of the plug are out of tolerance, ie too thick. When plugging in the device sockets an enormous effort would be needed, so that I was afraid to damage or break out the sockets on the circuit boards of equipment. Have the cable sent back to Amazon and ordered another cable with plastic plugs (Amazon Basic). This works fine. Since a compound of the devices takes place via an optical light guide, in my opinion unnecessary, a gold-plated plug. The reversal on Amazon was excellent as always, but I would give 5 stars.
