Mine arrived empty battery, triggering a documented bug: the phone does not turn on. No need to return it to service: we must make a combination of buttons (voldwn + pwr) for TWO MINUTES! The update to kitkat (Motorola) seems to have removed the bug. See if another ROM reintroduced default. If it happens to you, look for specific instructions.
The rest is not bad at all:
- The Motorola android is a bit bare. I do not so much that configures the n is not ROOTE with a more substantial and functional ROM.
- Supported 64GB memory card (requires a formatting).
- Excellent reception Free network. Good tethering.
- Easy rooting, Motorola provides everything. Good Doc.
- Splash proof and even to a non prolonged immersion. Resistant screen. I have still put a movie.
- Hull and plastic a little cheap. A holster around (replacing the hull) and there appears more. Leaving only the screen Gorilla glass 3 of excellent craftsmanship.
- The controls at the bottom of the screen are the Google standard. Samsung puts the buttons outside the screen instead; result, mini S4 has more display area for a smaller footprint. A roof ...
Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase, on a budget, much more than for a comparable Galaxy.
