For this reason, so I took the pen to make a focus.
The K-30 is a DSLR, so with mirror.
As for me, I had a lot of DSLR in recent decades, but I have changed course in recent years by directing me
- Firstly towards Bridges like Sony RX10, RX100, HX400V, Lumix FZ1000, LX7 ..
- Secondly towards mirrorless cameras like the Canon EOS-M, Lumix GH3, GX7, Fuji X-T1, Sony or Olympus A6000 .OMD EM1.
I find boxes without more compact mirror, more convenient and electronic viewfinders have certain advantages insofar as they are located at the top of game, which is still quite rare.
But I did not say goodbye to DSLR! I do more or less regular gifts of my boxes to my children, but there are two that I do not want to separate myself:
- The Nikon D7100
- The Pentax K-30.
Why?
Because I am confident performance, the value of the robustness and flexibility of these boxes.
There is one other that I do not have but that also meets these criteria: The new Canon D7 Mark II, which is not yet available and is probably out of my budget.
The outstanding feature of the K-30 is that it is four times cheaper than the Canon and two times cheaper than the Nikon.
It has no second screen, or 2 slot for memory cards etc. but it has everything you need for a good camera, including weather resistance and dust or ability HDR. This means that the K-30 very quickly several shots with different exposures and combine them into one photo. This way, we can master extreme situations like a dark alley with a very sunny mediterranean sky as dark paties are sunny and bright parts mitigated. This is an example to show that this camera is not any housing, but a semi-professional tool at a price which I call ridiculous!
If the K-30 is part of my heritage PHOTOGRAPHIC, in company of the best current boxes and cameras, is that it is excellent. The only thing we can blame him is to be slow when calculating a composite HDR photo but it is clear, it does not cost a small fraction of a Canon or Nikon Premium ..
In the Charts, it is always in the forefront of DSLRs with APS-C sensor and it confirms my estimate.
Regarding the objectives, I have the Pentax WR (waterproof) and 18-55 Tamron 70-300, both extremely economical as well as a Novoflex adapter that allows me to use my Nikon lenses 9, 3 with f / 1.8.
With the Pentax 18-55 I among other pictures to sell my watches, screwdrivers etc. at ebay, so macros without too many problems in lighting conditions not very bright (ceiling in a room of children).
Anyway, criticize this camera because it does not make good macros, is like saying that a Mercedes CLS does not hold water. Perhaps it would be better to equip it with Michelin to go to Chamonix and not winter tires manufactured in Burma.
I think it n 'there is nothing more to add.!
