Package arrived, unpacked, installed (all together 20 minutes). Filter Starter bacteria pure (I bought separately and simply dumped into the filter, because I have nowhere to get information, how do mans properly. Seems to have worked. Now, after three weeks, the water is crystal clear and there were no new algae have formed. The rest has settled and now need to be removed. UV lamp I have not, since I've read somewhere that you should turn on the after a few weeks, otherwise they will obstruct the necessary formation of a bio-culture in the filter.
