80s German rock at its finest!

The Sündenknall 1985 ... in my opinion, Udo's best disc of the '80s, in addition to "Udopia" and "Odyssey".
The special offers irritates Sündenknall especially with an ingenious rock sound typical of the '80s and' usual funny lyrics, which this time really bring the audience laugh style.
Above all, my favorite of the album "Ms. Lindi". So crazy and hard rocking one experiences Udo last in the 70s! A real good mood song which sets immediately in the ear by its catchy guitar riffs. To mention this would also Rocker No.2, "seed bank". Here a blocked account in that place are sung, and the times will fix a German artist ... creates only Udo himself as good as here.
Trashy-electronically then comes fittingly the song "database", therefore, provided with 8-bit music. Has something of the Neue Deutsche Welle, although this was already a few years ago. The song goes after them seamlessly into "D-471 81 61", so to speak, the continuation.
"Smog Rock" says title of her about it. Rocking merrily going on, first class. Quieter sounds are played at "Helmut Owiewohl" and "We race through today's", the latter song for me is one of the best ballads of Udo ever. Beautifully and deeply sad with great lyrics.
After Sündenknall not much good came from the Lord Lindenberg, just think of the uninspired "Casanova" or weakening "Phoenix" ... against acts Sündenknall as a milestone in German rock music, and that's what it is. Rarely Udo was in a bad mood and as creative as here. An absolute highlight of his albums!
