As for the product, there has actually been several versions (see other reviews). The one I received is actually Quad Core It runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat. With a memory of 8 Gb 1 Gb internal and 5 Gb NAND Flash. They can also increase the memory using a standard USB drive or a SATA hard drive
It connects to the TV with the HDMI cable but if your TV is not compatible, you can use the composite RCA also provided. The picture is perfectly clear (not like the picture, hard to beat sorry)
There is a small English instruction manual written very small but that is not useful. There are no Android operating instructions supplied with either smartphones. Just choose the French language in the settings.
The screen is quite consistent with what we find on a smartphone and the different buttons (volume, home, back) are displayed on a bar at the bottom of the screen.
There is also a small remote control (black and not white as in the picture) that works by radio waves, so it works even if the box is not visible. It includes the Android common commands and a mouse button. We must then use the sliders to move, it's not very practical but with a small wireless mouse that's great. simply use the pointers as his finger on a touch screen. If you do not like the Android onscreen keyboard, there are also wireless keyboards, some are especially suitable for smart box. As there are only two USB port using a HUB is not a luxury.
Beware, there is no Bluetooth and whether to use a dongle, you must ensure that it is compatible OTG like any USB device you want connect to Android.
I am personally very satisfied with this box and price because I have seen other more expensive.
