I think the excitement of so many alteingessesener Linkin Park fans on the direction of this album really narrow-minded. Personally, I think it's great when a band the old ways prefigured leaves at times to go in a different direction. The slow, ballad-like songs on the album are managed in my opinion very good LP improve this really very good thing most do not manage the business: they present a quiet, thoughtful songs but also have absolutely nothing in common with the kitschy Popgeduddel so many mainstream contemporaries.
Clear loud, fast rock numbers are few and far between on this album but it has to be nothing bad! I think the album super and Linkin Park have proven that they can also go in a different direction.
