a beautiful film about otherness

All are kind of strange, misunderstood, different. But that's ok, learn to live with it. That's it, but here rübergebracht beautifully. Norman is different and has to live with the constant hostility of his fellow men. And when he has his big chance to save the city and to become a hero, he notes that zombies and witch are really only misunderstood - and that the witch rightly, is very very angry. Neill is different, the zombies are different (than you think), and the witch is no.
To this was some nice charakterliche developments over the length of the film: Courtney gets at the end of the curve and learn to stand up for her brother. Alvin is no longer just the bully next door. Mitch Mitch is, ok, there's not much to pick up; but he is also good as it is! :-)
We have very good talk, especially the zombies are really nice. For 5 stars it is not enough - if you for example the film compares with Coraline, which he sold for a good reason in a double, then you notice differences.. ParaNorman is then but relatively linear, "normal", less creative - a beautiful zombie movie parody, but with less own depth. Coraline is unspeakably creative, wild, self. The characters of ParaNorman really capture the classic clichés for a ride - the characters in Coralin need no clichés. And so on. But of course grumble at a high level, and as I said, we were entertained grandiose.
