a beautiful kit - but not quite perfect; o)

In the box there is a lovingly made and very highly detailed kit of the series 50 of the German Federal Railways, however, has the small disadvantage that it unfortunately only as such variant - can be built - so the Federal Railroad variant. That's the only hook, for which it has to give me a star deduction. There are two reasons: on the one hand are only Bundesbahn decals at and on the other hand of the operator panel on the left and right side of the cab has been marked only for the DB logo. If you still want to build the locomotive as Reichsbahn, you have to remove this panel from both sides of the locomotive or at least diminish.

Who now but does not want to race specially going to raise the Model Master Paints somewhere, can - as I do - resort to Revell; o)

The following Revell colors I used for this model, which I myself prefer the new acrylic paints, the numbering at Revell but are identical to the paint colors ...

Fire red satin - Revell 330 (for the entire chassis, including the wheels.)
Black satin - Revell 302 (for the entire superstructure)
Matt anthracite - Revell 09 (for the coals in the tender)
Iron metallic - Revell 91 (for the treads of the wheels - there could be but also accept aluminum)
Aluminium Metallic - Revell 99 (for some cog in the cabin - as you could but also take iron)
Copper metallic - Revell 93 (for a gigantic can figure in the cabin - eigtl nonsense.)
Stainless matt - Revell 83 (for the clutch and the rails)
Erdfarbe matt - Revell 87 (for the thresholds)

these colors I have used! There are no recommendations from the manufacturer!

The instructions is plentiful illustrated and actually self-explanatory. On important matters will be specifically mentioned - but in English! For example, the state of the wheels during assembly (Wheel Positioning) or the compression of the locomotive and tender (Snap).
