The start has been made quickly, easily move the Touch Cover the bottom of the Surface and already snapped to the magnet and the two components together to automatically dock. The keyboard is also recognized immediately (which is also to be expected).
Tapping on the touch keyboard is better than imagined. Although you have no real pressure point, as one would expect from a normal keyboard, but the Surface provides a small acoustic feedback, so you know immediately when the button is hit correctly. The Touch Cover must not necessarily hide from Netbooktastaturen. For prolific writer I would recommend, however, already a real keyboard, or at least the Type Cover.
The cover also serves as a protection for the screen when it is closed. It makes the surface almost a netbook. What I did not know before buying: If you fold the cover backwards, the keyboard switches off, so you can use the tablet without coming accidentally while keeping the keys. Microsoft has therefore quite some thought.
Overall, the Touch Cover is a beautiful piece of art for which Microsoft may require a certain price quite, but I found, as I said, especially at the beginning a bit exaggerated. Therefore, four out of five stars. Bin otherwise very happy with it.
