Pride and Prejudice is for me the most successful of the six small wonders that left us the great Jane Austen. Despite retaining his remarks, the delicacy of writing, the fineness of the psychology of the characters weaves a dream setting for a d.amour story that is anything but vapid. A poor girl, flanked by a foolish mother, a lazy father and three sisters badly brought up the courage to push a handsome young man, rich, noble, by pure spirit of independence! A real revolution in this society corseted this mischievous character, intelligent and free. In comparison, Darcy which we finally know little, except his dark character and aristocratic morgue is almost secondary character. Here, the author casts serious doubt in the light, restores humanity and depth. Final delight, some time after the marriage, the organization of their life, precious few crumbs of their history. And the same joy to meet old and dear friends, to look forward to turn the pages .... Too short moment of happiness
