A sought-after home '
I made this birdhouse now for several months.
I can only say that I am thrilled completely. And not only I ;-)
Normally, it takes so few days or even a few weeks until a new feeding site of the birds recognized and also accepted / served. Of that I went out and when I had fixed it on my balcony railing with two long cable ties.
The more astonished I was, however, as I am the second !!! Day, while I was only a few meters from the house sat at the balcony table, got the first visit. A couple Meisen had discovered it and served shortly. This couple followed from then very many other birds.
Currently there are 'as I said' many titmice, chaffinches, robins, and 'a bullfinch couple. The latter are indeed in my own region rather rare, more pleased I am.
The processing of the cottage is excellent, the solution to the 'feed fire' as a storage reservoir is a perfectly functioning idea. I have already repeatedly filled the fireplace with birdseed half. The grains slip when out of the fireplace, the food is picked. However, it slips by too much food. This means that the ground is not completely overlaid with food, but only to the two outlets of the chimney collects food. A great choice! In the fireplace plenty of food fits into it, so do not worry about it, that this is near the end, when looking for a couple of weeks go on holiday times.
What's important to me that only small birds is come in the house and not, for example, crows and pigeons. This is ensured by the small window.

Finally now the assessment:
Pro:
- Excellent workmanship
- Perfect solution of stocking and removal of the fodder
- Easy filling with food (only the 'lid' slimming above)
- Looks great (I think at least)
- Very fair price (in the flower trade, I have seen an almost identical house for almost twice the price)
- Only small birds can visit
- Simple mounting option plan by floor
- High 'acceptance' of birds (occasional 'fights' of different species of birds)
Cons:
- Not

So, I can highly recommend this house. It will also certainly make elsewhere for much joy.
