For admittedly a lot of money to get here a perfectly crafted case that is thought through in form and function to the last detail. As material comes Canvas (or the new Fybernite) was used, and the bag is lined. Under the generic material is still a waterproof layer.
Here no zipper or even Velcro draws attention to the wearer. The leather straps offer a quick release, which can be opened quickly but surely close. The cover can be folded back and remove the insert. The front pockets can be expanded.
The Billingham Hadley Small can be worn very comfortably and offers playing space for:
- IPad Mini
- Fuji X-Pro1 or X-E1 (or similar cameras like the Olympus OM-D) with lens
- Two additional lenses above the other - separating trays are supplied
- Small items
The camera insert can be removed as I said. There are two vertical (long) walls and two horizontal separation trays supplied. The partitions are attached with Velcro straps and are good, but not too thick padded (somewhere between exaggerated LowePro walls and very thin from Domke)
The Billingham stands out pleasantly from LowePro / Tamrac / Think Tank pabulum from without particular attention.
