Lost on a desert island for too long, I only picks France Culture and France Musique on my digital radios. For radios with manual drive I capture in my RTL bathroom (provided the device to position perpendicular to the constellation of Pisces, which is not always obvious in daylight) and France Info in the kitchen (but only balanced on top of the highest shelf, twisted antenna fully to the West, except Friday morning where to pin up the ceiling antenna, oh so perilous exercise) In short, y was tired. Like on my island was finally ADSL, I decided to end my isolation ondesque with this micro system. In less than two hours (which for me is a feat worthy of a hundred meter of Ben Johnson at the Seoul Olympics) I finally had at my disposal, via wifi from my box, all radios in the world in my living room and there are many. Fortunately The preset function allows to find his favorite frequencies without spending half an hour. For cons, the start loading time is longer (a good thirty seconds) that a "normal" radio. And of course the FM and Internet broadcasts are not synchronized (do not push it either), which means that we listen to one or the other. (But this aspect should be resolved with additional equipment) The ergonomics of the remote control and navigation systems do not appear to me very intuitive (to be said that the remote control looks a bit like a cockpit of Boeing 777 Dreamliner), but after a few minutes it was already much simpler (I am convinced that there are buttons that I will never support ...). The real plus is that at startup (after completion of preheating ...) leads directly to its selection of radios "web" (in which one finds without difficulty all French radio stations RTL Radio Classique passing by Europe 1 and France Culture ...). Finally, we reach until the fateful day of the blackout. Counting a good half hour for a reprogramming of your 20 preset stations.
As regards the additional functions, The FM radio only picks France Culture (normal). The CD player is very silent, allowing listening to cd muted without unpleasant noise background. The socket to connect its onion-phone is very quiet, it's good I'm not. There are many other small features that seem more anecdotal, I plan primarily listening to the radio and my cd, but I think it is possible without great difficulty connecting deezer or similar service from ' a computer.
As regards the sound: The sound seems quite correct, even if the settings (bass / treble) are minimal. This is the Sony is a brand that has never disappointed me the point of view of sound quality. The ability to connect to other Sony devices wifi in other rooms to enjoy all of the music seems promising. I regret once again that the speaker cables as short, you have to keep close to the chain.
In conclusion: a micro system that meets my needs at a fair price. This is probably not the ultimate, but in my case I shall content myself well.
