On BPA in plastics, this information is not mentioned on the packaging (which must mean what it means), but I think bisphenol A, (like phthalates) is released in food only if it is heated, this device is out cold extractor, absolutely nothing heater, and juices are de-li-cious! Really, for 99.90, I have as good as those made juice extractor with 400 euros (test done with a juice tasted at friends), and the material is very good (compared to model Horizontal green "Petra" to 108 for example (because I hesitated to buy it just before), and some users complain about the degradation of plastic that gets rough, brown in contact with food (blurp!) and there .. For me it is clearly dangerous and contradictory to drink a full juice mixed with vitamins carcinogens !! tupperwares much use of glass and throw these plastic bins!)
In short, in any case, with Koenig is quality material seen all that I have already checked! It is solid, stable, (and very handsome brushed stainless) The fibers dry out well, and there is little in the juice (which I looove personal), but at worst a small tea strainer or else will the case to finish the job and get a perfectly smooth juice if that's what you want). I even spent broccoli! Their juice is very good, pretty sweet, original, especially the broccoli is a superfood (considered anti-cancer!).
My best: Turn the extractor, grab a handful (even very small with 20 seeds) almonds (WITHOUT SHELLS HEIN !!!!!!!!!!) and / or hazelnuts or walnuts, sunflower seeds, throw them into the extractor, then gently pour a glass of water, and you will get DAAAA .. TA: A delicious vegetable milk all white, creamy, uniform !! Drink just like that (first pass through a sieve or a fine tea strainer to remove small remaining fibers), and taste with a bowl of cereal, or you can make a sauce for a savory dish, or to make a sweet dessert in the oven, rice pudding, cakes .. !!!! In short, you'll understand that I do not know how I lived before .. ^ _ ^

Here are my three tips about the technical use of this device (based on my own experience of course):
1) After you finish your juice (or milk), Pull out all the mechanism that holds the screw by turning to the left (catching gently with both hands, the two plastic tubes on the right and left of Where the juice and fiber flow is). This is to remove the entire block at once to clean it in the sink without putting everywhere, it is very simple and quite fast. Note that on a VERTICAL extractor, the branches of herbs like parsley, are essential for cutting small pieces of 5 cm, otherwise the long stem any fibrous wraps goshawks of the worm (normal), and it ends block ! (Because it makes the fibers in three poor fruit I tell you!). PS: I have no garden to make sure the compost! ;)
Finally, at the end of extraction (when there is no longer even a poor little apple seed to throw in this mâcheuse mouth) I add a little water to "wash" the last little pieces of fruit / vegetables in remaining the worm! ;) That way nothing is lost! (Yeah, even the seeds and leaves of fruits and vegetables often contain more vitamins, you could not eat them directly in large quantities even if we wanted to, there are chewed we work, enjoy it!)
So, if you buy it, you will enjoy, and probably have no regrets, though of course used in the rules. Finally, it really does not take much space in my small kitchen! it barely exceeds the microwave, without goshawks posed pots, it looks like just a classic mixer.
