A compromise - but a very good ...

My first diNovo Mini I had to swap after a few days, because the letter keys only on more pressure (and not the clicking sound) the Input realized what made a relaxed writing texts impossible. My replacement device no longer has this problem now.

Writing longer texts is not very comfortable, mainly located at the pressure point of the keys, which are uniquely designed so that they are operated with both thumbs, and the two fingers brings a system now times only to the extent ... Quick IM Messages or postings, can, however, submit any problems.

The getting used German keyboard layout (without F keys (F5, I miss you so ...)) is a valid point of criticism, umlauts are not really easily from the hand, and even now (after a few months settling-in period), it happens that I Error doing when entering special characters in a text. Ctrl, Win and Tab / Esc are me, starting on how often I use them, terms of size a little bit prominent, but there are at least a place where they can find them. On the second button right click you get used quickly and also the three steps "open in a new tab" you internalized rather quickly. Although dedicated buttons for the right and the middle-click will certainly have been handy, it goes that way.

The touchpad is (at default settings, without Logitech drivers Utility) a little too little responsive, it can, however, after a period of familiarization surprisingly accurate, although not particularly fast, so working. The switch can be the arrow keys to the touchpad, I never use almost since selbiges can reach buttons also by pressing one of the FN, and usually is only temporary benefit anyway.

In very rare cases (perhaps once a month, rather less often), the keyboard responds (usually the mouse) (hooked the mouse motion picture) in collaboration with my laptop not quite correct. To fix this, it is enough if I disable Bluetooth module once in my laptop and then activate again (manual resynchronization is not necessary). May well be that the driver on my Bluetooth stack is, but I see me play in this regard with other drivers no urgent need.

So, after all the criticisms but sometimes for the better. This thing has just the right size. And that's worth a lot ... From the feeling (and not least because of the cover), the diNovo Mini comes with me still as a remote control by. I'm not looking for "keyboard" but I take just "for remote control", and is characterized not least also reflected in the frequency of use. I've been using the diNovo several times a day, often simply in the transition from PC keyboard (and Workstation) to the couch - the film I start yet on the PC, pause, time to answer an email (which pushes from Outlook via Pop Up in the film) manage, or downloads in the background, but then everything happens out of the couch.

The diNovo Mini is portable, can be "just so" take, and also due to the use stowable USB dongles easily to other PCs.

The battery life is quite economical, even if I do a little more often than once a month must load emotionally. The (replaceable) battery is for me also to a large extent to usability so. I do not shy away to use the keyboard, because I have to (Bluetooth nunmal consumes significantly more power than infrared) keep the battery purchase in mind, or I in a phase in which I might use it like to have to load batteries (10 min Short charging enough for one day).

The illumination of the keys is rather unspectacular, but is nevertheless one thing - functional, it always comes back to situations in which I am glad to have them. Turns up times too early again, enough to press the FN key and the keys light up again.

But above all, allows the diNovo Mini me one, a seamless workflow. No matter how hard a PC is tuned for Media Center, the operating environment away diverse media center is simply not yet ready to be controlled by a remote control. This small Bluetooth keyboard (with integrated touchpad) it makes me possible the PC to be able to still use it as a PC, even if one makes in the next few minutes time to watch a movie. IM chat, a quick answer mail, sometimes just Googled what, or file delete after seeing it, for all that I have to just going to briefly interrupt, or ship in the background my film experience, and am a few keystrokes later the middle of the movie, in my music, or in my slideshow, without that I must geziehlt put before the computer again.

Many multimedia programs that I use mostly for performance or compatibility reasons, today it still designed to be operated, only to mention a multi-monitor environment under Windows garnicht with mouse and keyboard. And even if a program times unexpected strike in the background, the Ctrl + Alt + Del combination is pressed quickly and killed the culprit, without that you have to go for it to the PC.
