Appearance:
That falls quite clear among a matter of taste, but I find the housing first class and unique in design. It is truly luxurious to watch and everyone who saw it was so far very impressed.
Physical / processing:
On the housing located above 2 USB 3.0 ports (of course, only USB 3.0 if you have a board with USB 3.0 where you can connect the port), an eSATA port, 2 knobs for fan control (high / low) and an LED button, with which one can allow the internal fans shine in the colors blue, red and green. Add to that a rapid interplay between colors and slow, as well as a complete disabling so that nothing lights up, so in total there are 6 different settings. Small drawback: When you turn on the system will always light the blue fan, no matter what you have previously set. Front right, there is still a blue illuminated power button, under there is the reset button in white, a blue status light disks, 4 USB 2.0 ports, as well as input for microphone and headphones. The processing of the case is to be regarded as very good, even if a large part of plastic is what personally but does not bother me. There are no sharp edges, the side door is very easy to open by pressing a button under the housing. The window reveals only the most important, the view of the top of the boards, cables are not visible through the good positioning of the window. Very good I think that's at your fingertips easily to be removed dust lattice on the side fan in the door, the adjustable air flow of the selfsame (imagine the front as on the ventilation of air conditioning in the car where you indeed can set whether this the up or down to send air into the car) as well as the equally easily to be taken under the dust collector housing (can be easily pull out the back)
Interior:
Inside is space for ... well, actually it all and more. It is extremely spacious and can be as good as all the cables hidden, everything is very easy to reach and incorporate, as does the assembly of a PC's really fun. Nothing rattles or creaks. The 5 frame for either 2.5 "or 3.5" SSD's or HDD's are exemplary. All are supplied with power and to be fired only with a SATA power connector on the power supply, the SATA cable can be connected to the intended connections that means you just have to insert the plates and they are connected. The highlight would have been if Thermaltake would have 1 or 2 extra frame settled, maybe you can reorder them so? But even here there is a small drawback, namely concerning normal 3.5 "HDD hard drives. If you build these existing in the 5 caddy a vibration be clearly transmitted to the housing, but which, mind you, not everyone perceives. My girlfriend, for example taking the Noise is not it. I hear it very well but for me this shortcoming matter because I have there now installed only 2 SSD's, which of course do not transmit vibrations because there is nothing to vibrate. The HDD is I still have now returned to my SilentMaxx 5 installed, 25 "anti-vibration aluminum heat frame, which is installed under the DVD drive.
If you want to install a water cooling system also, provision is made for this purpose sufficiently from Thermaltake.
Soundscape:
I am a freak Silent, all components purchased from me are always designed for maximum Silence. The supplied in case fans are, in low profile, to designate very pleasant as it is a constant, but very quiet air flow perceptible when it is quiet in the room, it's not a whir, hum, buzzing, fluttering, and what many other cheap fans still may enter for noises, perceptible. You can run on top of the housing in LOW or HIGH these over the 2 heads, my description refers to LOW (High is me personally a bit too loud at work or surf, while gaming with sound it does not matter), but that is also more be sufficient so that everything is cooled excellently in the housing. My MSI GTX 570 Twin Frozr II achieved in this case just the 70 degrees in Crysis 2 DX11 with HighRes Texturepack, at a fan speed of no more than 42%. In my old body is like gone off under the same conditions even at 80 degrees that only times as a comparison.
Other:
The Tower is delivered very well packed in a large cardboard box. As an accessory there is an extension cable for the 4-pin CPU connector (I did not, fit with me just now without) and, of course, a plethora of diverse screws (very good: all screws are completely in black) and cable ties (also black).
Conclusion:
High-end precious Tower of superlatives. Can thoroughly recommend this case. Who knows the color does not like for which there is the same also completely in black.
