A false reissue: properly ashamed

The English label Avid Jazz republished with all his albums in the public domain in double very cheap CD. Avid Jazz manifested by name his desire to favor quantity over quality and this is clearly felt at the hearing of this umpteenth reissue false. The pieces are selected in defiance of all logic and chronological puzzle scattered way. Added to this is a remastering of the second decade of the twentieth century stand still excellent illustration of what a discography failure. When will we understand that often alas, low price means low quality?

The reader will find me probably too harsh: the two-star rating in any case only concerns Johnny Hodges whose talent is shamefully highlighted but the design and quality of these pseudo-albums. We can only advise to the amateur quality of directing his credit card to other horizons, especially towards OJC Remasters reissues, new editions of classics now become the property of Universal.
