The HMI is really pretty and pleasant to use.
It offers a mix of simple and basic features, but to switch to advanced mode, to access the settings for the device parameters. (On fibaro devices, there is an impressive number of options)
From the point of view of pairings devices: it works on the first try (unlike my experiences on vera, or ca sometimes due to black magic to get there).
The definition of scenes is done by assembling visual bricks IF THEN ELSE. (Warning, no LUA script on the lite version).
Once paired devices, it automatically gets very relevant dashboards:
- Power consumption, piece by piece, or devices by devices.
- Alarm (intrusion detection, detection of a fire by sudden increase in temperature or smoke, etc.)
- Timeline (to visualize the sequence of events)
So that I did not give 5 stars:
- This is the current version, V3, is very limited. It is difficult to add anything other than Zwave devices.
For example: impossible to integrate a weather station Netatmo. It was not until the next version V4 is pending.
Like to have a smoke level graphic: we must wait for the next.
- This is also because Fibaro made this closed box. It is flanged that leaves us as Fibaro features.
And unfortunately, it seems that favors its Fibaro HC2 model (much more expensive), which already enjoys him of a beta version of the V4 and the famous plugin management.
