The French chef Georges Priest, accompanied by the organist Marie-Claire Alain, we delivered an excellent version:
1. It gives to his band intensity and real energy, his leadership is affirmed without constantly shake the listener. It makes this "French" symphony its mix of magnitude (first, third and last movements) and sweetness (the second movement Poco Adagio is not the most receuilli it is given ouir but what sound)
2. The Wiener Philharmoniker is characterized once again by the quality of ALL consoles (strings, winds) led by a leader who knows where he led his troops.
We appreciate the addition of the Second Symphony's musical talent of Saint-Saëns. It will nevertheless demonstrate great indulgence towards this filthy blanket, mark the most sickening marketing: the composer's name to be entered in large letters, the interpreter, whatever his talent, being always His service.
