The bracelet shows the default time (but editable online). It has a single button (a kind of bulge on the right side of the screen): if you press it, you get the date, and the number of steps, and not the objective of the number of calories, distance and heart rate (if you own a more sensor). You can choose online to show only the time and the number of steps, for example. It's your choice what you want.
If you long press the same button, the display lights up (to see the time at night for example) then the symbol START (to start a business), SYNC (to synchronize with the bracelet Connect application Garmin on your cell phone, and so update the data visible on the application or online on their website), SLEEP (indicating that you go to sleep and start tracking of sleep) and PAIR (to pair your bracelet Bluetooth with your mobile phone, the first time only) appear successively. I give these details because I have struggled to understand how to use this unique button from (especially for synchronized), so I hope it make your job easier!
I regret that one is forced to force synchronization, and it is done automatically, for example every hour. I'm not a big fan of the band - but it is a matter of taste. I find it hard simply to wear a bracelet all day - it's been that I no longer wear a watch! This bracelet is quite comfortable (and available in two sizes) and that's fine if you want to see the time and a clear display continuously. Indeed, most pedometers do not display the time or the number of steps continuously: it usually press the button to display. It is also easy to change the batteries (there are 4 small screws to loosen, providing two flat batteries CR1632), expected at the end of a year.
The principle of this watch is that you never take away: it has not the day, and follows our sleep at night. One can even go swimming (or shower) with! The fastening system is well designed: it would be very difficult to lose, in my opinion. I tested another pedometer connected: the Fitbit Tracker One of activity and sleep Black, which is just the opposite. We still have a little afraid to lose! The Fitbit is one thumbnail and slips into a pocket or bra for girls (which I find more comfortable and discreet that personally wrist), displaying the Fitbit One is not continuous (and difficult to read) but the timing is more easily and it has a larger community network (greater French presence in particular) on its website; The Fitbit One also has the badge system, and motivation with a flower that grows the more one moves in the day (I prefer the positive side of the flower that blooms rather than red bars vivofit 2).
In practice, my favorite pedometer (I now in the pocket) is the simple pedometer Omron Walking Style 20 euros III Pedometer Orange, which is not connected but remembers (and accessible directly on the pedometer) the last 7 days. The display (not continuous) is very clear and the single stack is even easier to change (a screw!).
In conclusion, the vivofit 2 is a good choice if you like to wear a wristwatch wrist all day (and night) with a continuous display, clear and precise, and want a extèrieure motivation, either graphically (statistics on their website), badge or community network.
