I bought this laptop to replace the first Eeepc 701 and its tiny keyboard / screen, and I do not regret it: enough resolution to internet, power good (probably not enough to play HD video, but it's not what one asks him), well equipped (wired network, wi-fi, bluetooth, 160GB hard drive ...), very good battery life (more than 4 hours!), quiet, pleasant and very friendly keyboard design. For software, the classic xp home, a trial offer Mac Afee (to be replaced by equivalent free as Antivir), and a solution of backup / restore full hard disk made in Samsung (very useful because all world does not necessarily external DVD player).
The only complaint the touchpad, which is really not high enough, we often have to make several passages finger to move the mouse pointer over the full height of the screen. In the long run it's embarrassing and you better have a mouse next when you enough room.
