A good product 48

The product was delivered by UPS before the date indicated. But with one caveat, the product was in its original shipping carton Samsung, so not overprotected. The packaging was damaged with a hole the size of a box in the middle of one of the nuts and cut closure scotches. Probably a lack of storage.
UPS in view of my remarks, spontaneously offered to open the package to see from possible damage. Fortunately the hole was located on the packaging of the back of the LCD (fluke), no damage to the TV. I would have preferred the original packaging is overprotected. Amazon had become accustomed to better.

After this delay, the product complies with the order and works perfectly. You use it, then some validations and everything works. The image is beautiful. I do not think the sound is bad. This LCD was chosen on a site that according to the setback of the room, the type of input source, quality and of course the budget. It offers TV with all the positives and négatitfs of chacunes (that is lcdcompare.com)
The TV and remote control are intuitive, no need to read the manual to use the first time. Of course it must be read because the settings are many and very interesting depending on the purpose.

This TV out in April 2010, can connect to the internet by wired or wireless (dongle to buy accessory 50/60) for an update eg firmware that can be updated by USB key. Once activated settings, the LCD can be connected to any Samsung mobile phones, it allows to read SMS, to be notified on the TV screen to receive a call or a text message. You can also use the TV to surf the web via mobile Samsung (if the package permitting!). One can also read about the TV media content (photo / video / music), telephone, access to its repertoire ...

The 4 HDMI ports (1.3) and 2 USB let you see it coming. I do not regret my purchase, it is a good product that is manufactured in Slovakia.

Two flats, the USB hub is not recognized by the LCD. And inability to completely turn off the TV without disconnecting or removing power from the power strip. There is no on / off button, it is a plague of these economies candle-end!
The standby power consumption of 0.30 Watt / Hour. If left in standby 20H / Day over a year this is 2200 watts are wasted (equivalent to the use of one hour of irons). This is multiplied by the number of standby equipment that we have at home. Normal running consumption of 134 watts is acceptable.
I recommend the purchase of this product.
