The pros:
- Small (it fits in the hand)
- Design (much color, the shape)
- Easy to plug in and use,
- Does not make noise (or very little)
- Virtually no heat (barely warm after 2 hours of use to watch a movie, for example)
- No significant problems at all after about a year of use
The -:
- Usb cable a little short of about 30 cm (but that does not pose much of a problem with a laptop)
- On the 500GB advertised only 465 GB is actually used (but this is true of all external SD my knowledge)
And be careful! It is not said that the S2 is formatted in FAT32, which made me a fright when I started to use it!
So as it is formatted in FAT32 if you want to put several GB in one on your external HDD, format it to NTFS (easy handling, even if one is a novice), look on the Internet you can find easily how, without even having to format the external HDD.
Otherwise, the transfers are fast enough (at least as long as they are not done with my PC).
In short, a very good product for a Samsung really reasonable price (at least compared to other external HDD at the time I bought it). I recommend it!
