This luggage scale is a good helper to prevent this.
My intention was to get a cheap luggage scale. I did not want to spend much money on a scale that is used very little in the year.
After much research, I came across the TripNeeds Micro. To my conclusion is: A good value for money.
Positive to the balance:
- Thanks to its small size you can take it anywhere.
- It weighs only 89 grams.
- Up to 50kg the balance is to endure.
- It weighs almost exactly as you can see in the video.
- You can choose between kg or lbs.
- There is a beep if the outcome is determined.
I have made several trials with the luggage scale.
When 1 test test (see video) showed the device at the correct weight. In other experiments, the instrument showed a difference of 150 grams.
I think that's a result that you can accept. Differences to 300 grams are normal. This is also in the instructions for use.
Here is an original quote from the manual: There may be differences due to production tolerances between the scale measurement and weight measurement at check-in. To ensure accuracy, we recommend that you perform several measurements and to make an average.
In any case, one should adhere strictly to the instructions for use if you want to weigh a suitcase. So one must not abruptly pull up as the luggage scale.
So should you pack up his suitcase but never to the allowable limit. If 20 kilos are allowed, then I pack my suitcase to 19.5 kilos. Then you will experience no unpleasant surprises when measurement errors at the airport.
In addition to the weight of the luggage scale shows also the temperature (° C or ° F)
PS: For me the battery was fully functional.
