I had a phone caeur for Volume 1 (Number Four), and I also loved the Volume 2 (The Power of Six). This suite is in the same line, because it gave me a great time! Too bad it was not until more than a year to be able to read ...
The style of Pittacus Lore is still rhythmic and detailed. The scenes are very visual, it seems to "see" them actually during our reading. The characters are more and more numerous and each has its place in the story. Four and Six are not the main characters, but on par with others. The action never falls. Guaranteed adrenaline spikes !!
The only downside that I will have to mourn for this book will be the narrative. As much as I'm a fan of narration in two voices, both for three voices is enough! Especially when at the beginning of chapter it is specified nowhere speaking. Only the font changes (good but hard hard to remember what font that corresponds to ...). Everything written in the first person singular more ... This gives a chopped reading and terribly slow, and I find that unfortunate. Finally, it is just my opinion, maybe that other readers have had less trouble than me. Personally, I think my playing time has doubled compared to a narration called "normal."
Despite this negative point, new Revolt is a very good tome or action scenes and fight scenes (worthy of the greatest films in cinema), are ubiquitous. I loved the end and I am looking forward to read more of their adventures!
