My first impressions are quite good compared to what I had read negative about it.
The tablet is ultra responsive and have android without overlay is a joy.
We feel every moment the power of the machine that surpasses anything I've seen so far.
All wireless connections are easily and VERY quickly - instant connection to NAS (I was impressed with that view in relation to my LG 8.3 GPAD though it was a very good tablet).
Numerical Example: my internet connection is about 150 mbps. 9 This nexus is the only wifi (from my connected devices) to reach the speed of 140 Mbps which is frankly excellent.
The screen is of high quality (I see virtually no difference with an Ipad) and I did not light leakage (that some seem to have experienced on the first series). There is also an effect "wow" in all people who I did it try.
The sound however, I expected much since HTC was the maneuver is quite disappointing (nothing catastrophic but nothing fantastic either).
The absence Micro SD expansion slot not bother me at all since I stream from my nas all content that I use. Even if I only have version 16 go, this one is more than enough to use that I make. This is to be assessed according to what want to do with this tablet.
The build quality is average. It is clearly not in the high end. However, it is certainly not as bad as what some may say tests. It is for example better than the LG GPAD 8.3. It is nevertheless far ipad or even sony tablets.
The big downside is the battery that runs out quickly. For use as I have, it is very sufficient. For users powers however, this can be a real handicap. I reached with my mixed use (but not greedy game!) About 8 hours of battery life. Recharging is not fast but is not unbearable.
Finally, this tablet fits perfectly with what I wanted to do but depending on the use that you book it, it may or may not be worth it.
