The whole point of the novel is based on the extreme precision (enough to require a glossary end of the book) and the total accuracy of its historical content (the coming to power of Hitler and his clique, the inexorable march to a Second World War) and his sudden tilting towards another kind of plot that drastically rocking in the field of science fiction. We do not of course disclose the exact content here to preserve the surprise 'In addition to the typical spring spy novels or adventure, "The Castle of million years" is also based on a main character endearing and ambivalent, which we constantly wonder about his true motives. The author through numerous flashback in his story manages to dig his hero's personality particularly interesting way.
The text style is rich and pleasant to read. Maybe we just blame the author of abusing some good finds one of his book: go back to the flashback (and more rarely in flashforward) to other moments in the life of the characters that populate novel. Each chapter begins with a statement of a day of a date and a year and sometimes requires a great deal of concentration to be resituated in the plot, especially when it is only going back to some days.
Combining the "Great Game" between secret services, in the true sense of adventure, often cynical realities of history and some promising romances, "The Castle of millions of years," reveals a promising work that can not be that Looking forward to the future.
