The Sony MDR-1RBT V3.0 did not come for me because he stated 4Hz 80.000Hz already in question (the human ear can perceive frequencies of 16Hz and 20,000Hz between 2 and 5 years old). Likewise, the Bose AE2w since Bose no information on the frequency range or input impedance makes (not on request). Sennheiser is at least honest values in the frequency domain and in addition the sensitivity. AKG is even at input impedance driver diameter and the maximum input power.
I think that shows some degree why these 4 companies for me only AKG and Sennheiser came in question (price range I have myself set to 300).
Both are relevant on the features and the price actually very similar (Apt-X support, Bluetooth & cable functionality), the Sennheiser headphones with additional Sound Retrieval System (known as SRS, simulated surround) and noise-canceling (suppression of ambient noise low frequencies) could come up. The AKG headphones, however, unlike the Sennheiser Near Field Communication (NFC for short) for faster coupling easy smartphone put on the right ear and already the headset is connected.
I have to give me for it first decided the Sennheiser a chance because for me the noise-canceling function in rail and bus rides and the flies would come in handy. When the headphones then arrived the following day entered disillusionment both the sound and the noise-canceling in my opinion are not scarce 300 value! Sonically, he came to my flat, therefore the SRS feature, it was slightly better, but still below the expected level. When the noise canceling ambient noise though were more or less hidden, there was, however, really no more depths in the music playback of the headphones sounded during which no better than the Apple Earphones, etc. small bud headphones.
Therefore, the Sennheiser headphones went after 30 minutes. back to Amazon and the same train of AKG K845 was appointed. When he arrived with me, I wanted to try a short time and then have lunch him really, then sat in the end but scarce 3 hours by headset at desk. The sound has really blew me away. I hear a lot of different styles of music (often hip hop, rock, and house, rare electro, punk-rock and classical music) and must say that the headset is really a great all-rounder.
In rock music (eg. Blink 182, The Killers, Yellow Card) there is rather less depth, making the guitars really really do not sound like the familiar beats, in which the guitar sound more like bass (my opinion). Insufficient depths however it is not, but is of course the song itself. In any case, getting the right dose! The song comes damn clear therefore.
In hip-hop (Genetikk, Prinz-Pi, Macklemore), Electro (Daft Punk, Crystal Castles) and House (no Ex.) Are the depths, however damn tired and present, at least if it so wants the song. Daft Punk has really excited me totally with headphones. Even so much that directly 2 albums were heard before that I have this determined a year does not heard.
In classical genre really sounds in orchestras each instrument as to how it would sound live. But since I rarely hear this kind of music I will not dwell on it.
However, I am surprised the most is that me the sound was able to inspire so although I Canton speakers along with a subwoofer can call my own with a really great sound. So it's not that I'm someone who has not only heard with Apple etc. apple earbuds music and am right because any half-quality Hi-Fi device ecstatic. Mir is also clear that both AKG and Canton of course are not the upper class. Since I am a student I have, however, other priorities to throw more for speakers or headphones out of the window as 2000 or.
Other positive aspects:
1. I have no problems with the Bluetooth connection. Connect always work right away, and there are no dropouts or clicking noises during use.
2. comfort is great with me, 3 hours and more is loose in there without aching ears.
3. Processing is really great! No squeaks, super materials.
4. The sound cable is at the same high level as Bluetooth, too, is not a foregone conclusion.
Now, the few negative aspects of headphones:
1. The battery can (I think) do not themselves changed. I have AKG ever sent an inquiry how expensive it would be, then, the battery should make limp.
2. The headset comes without a bag for transport. I read of course before, so it did not make me so very disappointed you are just forced to buy an universal pocket for headphones.
3. The headset has no back buttons for further titles and titles, only volume up, volume, play / pause. Bother me personally but I knew not even before my order.
Conclusion after this detailed description:
I would recommend these headphones any who is not only looking for the heaviest bass, but also a variety of music would so enjoy as they are being considered by the artist. Who will vary between the Sennheiser MM 550-X and this AKG should prefer my opinion the AKG. Here you really pay only for the sound instead of unripe additional features.
PS: I have the headphones via Bluetooth exclusively on my HTC One uses therefore with Apt-X Bluetooth standard. With cable to my old iPod Touch, iPod Shuffe, computer and Yamaha amplifiers. In addition, either with * .flac files (lossless) or * .mp3 and .aac * files with a relatively high compression ratio (> 200kbit / s).
I hope this review helps with your purchase decision!
