A super charger (I just bought a second) because it has a rare feature: the discharge function. For the duration of battery life is greatly improved if it make a complete charge / discharge cycle. And charger are made cycle discharge / recharge automatically, simply press the button shock when the installation of the batteries. This charger also reports of defective batteries by flashing an LED in front of the battery in question. I use this product for over a year now with a very intensive and brutal flash for use in professional photography. I suggest to match with Sony batteries that are for me so far the best in terms of holding over time. As an example of what happens to the batteries in a flash, if after one hour of studio you go out the batteries and they are brulantes and difficult to hold in hand. I do not think there was more intensive uses the flash picture for the batteries. The batteries during charge also rise in temperature which must be normal and not asked me any concern in their use. But careful not to be surprised when they are removed from the charger.

New function I just discovered the use of this charger ..... and yes my older accumulators !!! If a battery becomes faulty charger tells you the flashing LED is concerned. This saves you from keeping or using battery that came in later life. Purchase a 3rd charger such as outdoor'm using more and more flash cobra. Photographer Laurent CHRISTOPHE
