I am already for years Hikki fan and own all their albums Japanese. When I "exodus" by heard at home the first time I was more of a little disappointed, the album never sounded like after Utada. The next day I had it on the way here, I heard it is through headphones and was thrilled. "Exodus" is a real headphone album. Only then get all the details and the coolness and beauty of the entire arrangements to advantage. Hikkis voice is as always - something special and in this album flowed endeutig her time in New York. Groovy and loose, New York meets Tokyo meets Hikki. I hear the album up and down; fall in love with a song after another and can only say: "Exodus" is a masterpiece. Not their best album, which remains something very special for me "Deep River", but nevertheless.
