The switch from Windows to Mac hard bit.
At the cmd / alt / ctrl-keys you have to get used, the @ sign is also used somewhere else than Windows and the address separation in the mail program works "very" different (comma instead of a semicolon).
But this is just an apple and not a Windows clone.
If one has once settled a bit, then you get to really appreciate the box:
The keyboard: a visual delight, no cable clutter as Bluetooth, edged in brushed metal and absolutely professional pressure point.
The thing noted when the computer is off and then turns off.
This saves battery (my tip: you do not begrudge a few batteries with charger The way, there is incl 6 batteries by Apple..)
The Tatstatur is smaller than usual from your PC because the numeric keypad is missing, laptop users get away with it but along well.
Or "Bluetooth calculator with interface for MAC" you can treat yourself, actually a separate 10-key keyboard or the USB Tatstatur. I opted for the former.
From noisy hard drives I can personally report anything. The thing now and then purrs in the housing, but not so that it would bother me.
3 USB, 1Firewire port, headphone and mic input (although the Apple built a great sounding mic and webcam features) pass me personally fine.
Especially since a wireless Bluetooth mouse included is - as beautiful as the keyboard and ergonomic top (lighter pressure point is absolutely well in your hand)
Well, and then there's the screen.
27 inch, razor sharp, warm colors and beautiful in design - the latter is certainly subjective.
The thing is with me in the apartment. Since it is also visually pounce and what it does in my opinion.
The Apple itself is fast. I notice especially when video cutting with iMovie.
So I was the next Plus: the included software. Just look on the relevant Amazon page for the description of iLife.
A browser's doing well under Windows. But for Mac I get a professional e-mail program, a video processing (editing, effects, crossfade, Comment, ....), a web designer, a Music Mixer with Sampler and instruments and a DVD burning software (incl Menu- Gestltungstools) free.
For currently 54 euros then even with iWork presentation, - spreadsheet and word processing software to do so.
I expected to be for just one 27Zoll Windows computer with similar features and am there at the price of the Mac now completely relaxed.
My personal impression very safe:
This Mac is an absolutely horny box that your money's worth and even after months still fun.
