At first I wanted to buy an iMac, but as I do not like playing on the computer and otherwise do nothing about what a "thick" would require graphics card, I decided against the iMac mini and a new Mac.
I can only say that I do not regret it in any way.
For design I now just say nothing, because the images speak for themselves yes.
The performance is just awesome. Even with the standard 1TB drive I find the little super, but with the self-made fusion Drive is the mini really a raging giant in miniature.
Pro:
* Great Design
* Compact design
* Quiet operation
* Perfectly matched Hardware
* Expandable memory
Neutral:
* Unfortunately, only one Thunderbolt port, which makes a stroke necessary
* No optical drive (not very important to me, therefore, neutral)
Cons:
* No mouse and / or keyboard available
Not to swap * hard drive by the user
Conclusion:
The lack of a keyboard and mouse are a gripe for me, but since this also leads that you yourself choose a model and thus can be individually, I prefer this from no star, but only mention it in the review. Unfortunately, the drive can not exchange, whether for expansion or due to a defect, it would be nice if it would go. Since most buyers would probably but anyway go to a "specialist" to swap the board, I also see here on a star deduction. For both points together I would deduct half a star because you can not, mention must suffice here.
I may as office / multimedia talent only recommend the device. Only if you want to use even more complex games or 3D animations, you should look more toward iMac.
