I love the time and part of that history. Even the story itself also intrigued me a lot. This is what allowed me to keep my interest intact during the first 100 pages I felt like everything was in slow motion! The author is not a very favorable description of his heroine but ends up taking a liking to it perhaps especially as he does not seem to be himself very highly! No wonder that when we hear what they think women in general it says! I found Miss Mackenzie what could have been Fanny Price had it been in the same situation, so I was also longing to shake! Finally, it is when it starts to get into trouble the story gets exciting and we can not let go of the book before being fixed on his fate.
The end of the book has largely caught early. It is true that there are a lot of things that have not really liked me, as the author who comes to us or the most sympathetic characters who were the least depth; nevertheless, I enjoyed this reading and I have great affection for this heroine.
